“The Twist” has the distinction of reaching #1 on the Billboard and Cash Box Pop charts in 1960, re-entering those same charts in November of the following year, and returning to the #1 position in January 1962. It’s the only record of the rock era to do so.
In celebration of the 60th anniversary of Chubby Checker’s “The Twist”, a 7″ single LP has been reissued backed by both original B-sides and housed in a full color picture sleeve.
